We welcome new and existing Jewish families and individuals living in Fresno, Clovis and the surrounding areas, to join our Temple. The many privileges of Membership include enrolling children in the religious school, scheduling life cycle events such as a wedding, Bar/Bat Mitzvah, baby naming or a funeral etc. Receiving tickets for the High Holidays is also included.

The annual dues commitments of the members at Temple Beth Israel are the primary means of supporting our many programs and services. We ask you to participate to the extent of your capacity to help provide a solid financial foundation for our ongoing religious, educational, cultural and community service activities. Each member of our congregation is asked to reassess his/her commitment on an annual basis. Our fiscal year is July 1st to June 30th.

Nobody is refused membership if you are unable to make a Full Fair Share Dues commitment. Such situations are discussed with the Financial Vice President in strict confidence.

Fair Share Dues are currently 1 ½ % of annual gross family income or $1,835 whichever is more.

Our New Member Program makes first year dues voluntary. New members are asked to contribute whatever they think is fair.
