High School and Jewnior Youth Groups

Our High School Programs (Kabbalat Torah (see schedule below) and the Madrichim Program are focused on empowering our students to become passionate, creative leaders and role models.

Our programs create lasting memories and prepare our teens for the future. In addition to our programs during the school year, we offer two teen trips for Juniors and Seniors to visit Hillels in California. 

FYGBI (Fresno Youth Group Beth Israel - 9th - 12th) meets monthly for various activities. See the FYGBI calendar for more information. 

FYGBI JEWniors (6th-8th grades) meets six times a year including a Sukkot Sleepover in October. 

Kabbalat Torah is a monthly class (12:30 pm - 2:00 pm) for high school students to investigate a topic of their choosing (Jewish ethics, anti-Semitism, Zionism, the current war, Israeli history, Jews in America, etc.) It will culminate with a service which they will lead that reflects their learning over the year. The course will be taught by various instructors throughout the year including, but not limited to, the Rabbi and Religious School Director.
